depth of field

the depth of field refers to the area in focus in front of and behind the focal point depth of field however can be controlled (dof) by altering the aperture to the appropriate setting .a way of manipulating the depth of field is by changing lens ie alter the focal length .use a wide angle lens ie 28mm wide  in this photo the depth of field is on john lennon lennon and it draws a line of focus because the water is directly in front and i love the way this photo is created it's called lennon by annie lebovitz
